4th of July Weekend Transit Updates 🇺🇸

    Some transit agencies will provide holiday, weekend, or modified service schedules on Independence Day, 7/4 and over the holiday weekend, 7/3-5, 2020.


    Make sure to check your trip plan in the app before you go to see if there are any changes to your regular route.


    Here are some of the changes 👇

    LA Metro
    Metro will operate on Sunday/holiday schedule on Independence Day, Saturday, July 4. This means buses that do not run on Sunday will not run on July 4.
    Metrolink

    In observance of Independence Day, Metrolink will operate its Sunday schedule on Monday, July 5. Metrolink will operate a regular weekend schedule on Saturday, July 3, and Sunday, July 4. Metrolink trains will not operate on the Ventura County Line or the Riverside Line on Monday, July 5.

    Kids Ride Free on Saturdays and Sundays. A maximum of 3 children, ages 17 and under, can ride for free with 1 adult with a valid fare. Kids do not ride free on Monday, July 5. $10 Holiday Tickets and Weekend Day Passes will be available for purchase for all three days of the holiday weekend.

    LADOT

    There will be NO Commuter Express service on Monday, July 5, 2021, with the exception of Route 142 operating on its holiday schedule.

    Commuter Express Route 142 will operate on its holiday schedule on Sunday, July 4, 2021 and Monday, July 5, 2021.

    Big Blue Bus

    In observance of Independence Day, Big Blue Bus will operate a Sunday schedule on Sunday, July 4, and Monday, July 5, 2021.

    Rapids 3, 7, and 10, and Routes 5, 15, 16, 42, 43, and 44 will not be in service.
