London Marathon
From 03:00 until 23:00 on Sunday 27 April, there will be extensive road closures in place across central London for the London Marathon.
Races start at 08:30 in the Greenwich area and finish in Westminster.
Large crowds are expected along the route of the event, and Tube stations along the route will be busier than normal
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
From 17:00 until late on Saturday 26 April, the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will host a boxing match. Seven Sisters (Victoria line) and Bruce Grove, Silver Street and White Hart Lane (Weaver line) will be very busy before and after the event, and you may need to queue to enter stations or board a train. Use alternative stations or travel earlier if possible.
If you are travelling to the stadium for the match, use Seven Sisters or Tottenham Hale stations, which are a 30-minute walk from the stadium.
If you are travelling back to central London after the event, these are the fastest ways to travel:
- Take the free express bus from Tottenham Green to King’s Cross, and change there for Tube or rail services
- Use the Weaver line and change at Liverpool Street for Tube, rail or bus services

DLR
Sunday 27 April
- DLR service from Tower Gateway to Lewisham will start earlier at 05:30, with all other services starting at 07:00
- Services to/from Beckton will run to/from Poplar only
- Services to/from Woolwich Arsenal will run to/from Stratford International only
