BEST Bus Route Changes from 1st November 2025
BEST has announced significant changes to its bus routes, effective from 1st November 2025. Over 15 bus lines are affected, with some routes being closed, extended, curtailed, or converted to air-conditioned (AC) buses. Additionally, a brand-new route has been introduced. Here’s a breakdown of the changes:
New Route:
A-101: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus → World Trade Center
Changed Routes:
A-1: Colaba Depot → Santacruz Depot
Route curtailed at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus; no longer goes to Colaba Depot.A-6: Colaba Depot → Tata Power Center (Mahul)
Route extended to Backbay Depot, now operating from Backbay instead of Colaba.A-30: Vikhroli Depot → Mumbai Central Depot
Now extended to Pandit Paluskar Chowk (Opera House), replacing the Mumbai Central Depot.C-40: Dindoshi Bus Station → Prabodhankar Thackeray Udyan Bus Station (Sewree)
Will now skip Goregaon Check Naka bus stop by taking the flyover at Check Naka.A-45: Backbay Depot → M.M.R.D.A. Colony (Extension) Mahul
Curtailed and extended to Mahul Village instead of M.M.R.D.A. Colony (Extension).A-49: Mumbai Central Depot → M.M.R.D.A. Colony (Extension) Mahul
Curtailed and extended to Mahul Village instead of M.M.R.D.A. Colony (Extension).A-60: Deonar Depot → Borivali Station (E)
This route number has changed to A-458.69: Prabodhankar Thackeray Udyan Bus Station (Sewree) → Dr. Shyamaprasad Mukherjee Chowk (Museum)
Route extended to Wadala Depot instead of Sewree.A-77: Byculla Station (W) → Breach Candy Hospital
Now operates in a circular pattern (clockwise) between Byculla Station (W) → Godrej Chowk (Kemps Corner).A-78: Byculla Station (W) → Colaba Bus Station

399LTD: Trombay → Maharana Pratap Chowk (Mulund Check Naka) (converted to A-399)
410: Vikhroli Depot → Kondivita Caves / Mahakali Caves (converted to A-410)
