Metrorail reconstruction continues Sunday through Thursday this week with service adjustments beginning each night at 10 p.m from April 11 – 14.
Red Line
Every 20-25 minutes
Single tracking between Dupont Circle & Van Ness to allow for track maintenance, tie and fastener renewal. At Cleveland Park and Woodley Park all trains will arrive on the Shady Grove track.
Orange Line
Every 20-25 minutes
Single tracking between McPherson Square & Smithsonian to allow for track maintenance, tie and fastener renewal. At McPherson Square, Metro Center and Federal Triangle all trains will arrive on the New Carrollton track.
Silver Line
Silver Line trains will operate between Wiehle-Reston East and Ballston only. Customers traveling to/from other stations should use Orange and/or Blue line trains to complete their trip. At Ballston, transfer between Silver and Orange line trains on the same platform.
Blue Line
Single tracking between McPherson Square & Smithsonian to allow for track maintenance, tie and fastener renewal. At McPherson Square, Metro Center and Federal Triangle all trains will arrive on the Largo Town Center track.
Yellow Line
Regular weeknight service.
Green Line
Single tracking between College Park & Greenbelt to allow for 7000-series rail car testing. At College Park all trains will arrive on the Branch Avenue track.
