Metrorail Updates:
- Metrorail operates from 5:00 a.m. until Midnight on Weekdays, 7:00 a.m. to Midnight on Saturdays, and 8:00 a.m. to Midnight on Sundays
Weekday service info.
- Red Line Trains – Regular daytime intervals every 6 minutes peak and off-peak until 9:30 p.m. & Weeknights: Trains every 10 minutes & every 30 minutes at Franconia-Springfield and Van Dorn St Mon-Thurs only.
- Blue Line Trains – Regular daytime intervals every 10 minutes peak, 12 minutes off-peak until 9:30 p.m. & Weeknights: Trains every 15 minutes. Additional Blue Line trains will operate every 30 minutes between Huntington and Largo. Transfer at King Street for travel to/from Van Dorn St and Franconia-Springfield.
- Orange Line Trains – Regular daytime intervals every 10 minutes peak, 12 minutes off-peak until 9:30 p.m. & Weeknights: Trains every 15 minutes.
- Silver Line Trains – Regular daytime intervals every 10 minutes peak, 12 minutes off-peak until 9:30 p.m. & Weeknights: Trains every 15 minutes.
- Yellow Line Trains – Regular daytime intervals every 10 minutes peak, 12 minutes off-peak until 9:30 p.m. & Weeknights: Trains every 15 minutes.
- Green Line Trains – Regular daytime intervals every 10 minutes peak, 12 minutes off-peak until 9:30 p.m. & Weeknights: Trains every 15 minutes.

Weekend service adjustments
- Red Line Trains operate every 8 minutes between Twinbrook and Glenmont only; Shady Grove and Rockville stations closed. Free shuttle buses between Shady Grove, Rockville and Twinbrook every 10 minutes from system opening until closing.
- Blue Line & Orange Line Trains operating every 20 minutes – Trains operate every 26 minutes Saturday; every 15 minutes Sunday; every 15 minutes Monday (except after 9 p.m. to Franconia-Springfield and Van Dorn St for Blue Line).
- Silver Line Trains operating every 20 minutes – Trains operate between Wiehle-Reston East and Ballston only. Trains every 20 minutes. Transfer to/from Orange Line to continue trip.
- Yellow Line Trains operating every 15 minutes
- Green Line Trains every 15 minutes

Montgomery County Ride-On
- Fares remain free on all MCDOT buses at least through January 2022.
