Many transit agencies implement service changes ahead of Spring, March 20, 2021.
๐ These upcoming changes include:
- Santa Cruz Metro – A Spring schedule will go into effect from March 4.
- Schedule and stop modifications will be made to routes 10, 19, 20, 42, 69A, 69W, 71, 72, and 91X.
- All inbound 35 trips, with the exception of the first trip (6:30 am departure from Mountain Store) on weekdays, will serve Scotts Valley Drive northbound between Mt. Hermon Rd and Granite Creek Road, then continue on to Santa Cruz.
- Scotts Valley Dr. & Granite Creek Rd (Stop ID 1745) will be added as a timepoint.
- Route 16 will operate an additional โSchool Term” service on the weekends in the afternoons.
- Route 55 will resume service on Via Pacifica twice daily. Routes 3, 40, and 41 will remain temporarily suspended.

- Golden Gate Ferry – After Friday, March 5, Golden Gate Sausalito Ferry service will be temporarily suspended and replaced with Golden Gate Transit bus service while the Sausalito float is removed for required maintenance. For more information, click here.
- Golden Gate Transit will make the following minor schedule changes on March 14, 2021.
- Trip times at some stops will be adjusted for Routes 70 & 101. Routes 30, 70 & 101 will operate the same schedules on Saturdays and Sundays/Holidays.
- Also, northbound times at the Golden Gate Bridge Toll Plaza will be removed. Buses will still serve the Toll Plaza stop but will not wait for a posted time before departing the stop.
- Caltrain – Caltrain will be making the following changes to its schedule, effective March 22, 2021. More info.

- Maintain Caltrain/BART Connections at Millbrae Transit Center
- Weekday Service, increase from 68 Trains to 70
- Add Southbound Local Train 102, departs San Francisco at 4:51 am
- Add New Northbound Local Train 193, departs San Jose at 8:02 pm

- Capitol Corridor – Capitol Corridor will be implementing a new schedule that will go into effect on Monday, March 29, 2021.
- This new schedule continues eight round trips on weekdays and five on weekends, with the eventual intent to return to the pre-pandemic level of 15 round trips on weekdays and 10 on weekends.

- SFMTA – In May, SFMTA is planning to restart more Muni Metro rail service.
- SFMTA plans on extending the T Third Metro rail route between Sunnydale and West Portal, and bringing the full N Judah Metro rail route back into service between 4th and King (CalTrain) and La Playa (Ocean Beach).
