Brisbane – Park Road and Milton to Bowen Hills and Albion track closure

Ensure you don’t miss your place at the starting line. Plan your journey and arrive well before the starting gun fires. The Gold Coast Marathon will be made up of eight events held over the weekend of 2-3 July 2016. Each race will start and finish at the Broadwater Parklands in Southport.

Track closure

Park Road to Cleveland (Saturday 2 July and Sunday 3 July)

Please plan your journey in advance and allow for extra travel time (approximately 60 minutes) due to track works. Buses will replace trains in both directions.

Broadwater Parklands is close to Southport station (approximately 800 metres)

Shuttle buses

Free shuttle bus services will operate on Sunday 3 July for competitors and spectators.

Please note: shuttle buses operating to and from the event are not operated by TransLink.

Free travel with the G:

Customers in possession of a race bib, accreditation pass or volunteer shirt can travel for free to and from the event on Saturday 2 July (from 4.30am to 1pm) and Sunday 3 July (from 4am to 3pm) on the G.
