Changes in Public Transportation Starting The First Weekend of January

    TTC

    TTC will initiate the following changes starting on January 7:

    501B Queen replacement buses will operate via Jack Layton Way to provide two-way service on Broadview Avenue, between Gerrard Street and Dundas Street.

    501B Queen replacement buses will operate as follows:

    From Gerrard Street and St Matthews Road, west on Gerrard Street, north on St Matthews Road, east on Jack Layton Way and south on Broadview Avenue to regular route.

    Stops not served; Dundas Street between River Street and Broadview, River Street between Dundas Street and Gerrard Street and Gerrard Street between River Street and St Matthews Road.

    Service on 29 Dufferin and 929 Dufferin Express will return to Dufferin Gate Loop.

    329 Dufferin Night Bus will divert to Princes’ Gates Loop via Princes’ Boulevard and Nova Scotia Avenue.

    Service on 29 Dufferin, 105 Dufferin North, and 329 Dufferin Night Bus in the early morning and late evening periods will be adjusted so that trip times are better aligned with operating hours on Line 1 Yonge-University and Line 2 Bloor-Danforth. With this change, some trips on 29 Dufferin and 105 Dufferin North will be replaced with extended service on 329 Dufferin Night Bus.

    94B Wellesley (Castle Frank Stn-Wellesley Stn) will be extended into evening periods on weekdays and weekends in all time periods.

    With this change, evening service between Wellesley Station and Ossington Station will be reduced to every 20 minutes to coincide with daytime service.

    Service will continue to operate every 10 minutes or sooner between Castle Frank Station and Wellesley Station, in most periods except for Sunday mornings.

    504B King streetcars will resume regular service between Distillery Loop and Dufferin Gate Loop as follows:

    Westbound: from Distillery Loop, north on Cherry and Sumach Streets, west on King Street, south on Dufferin Street, west on Springhurst Avenue, south on Fort Rouille Street to Dufferin Gate Loop. Eastbound: from Dufferin Gate Loop, north on Dufferin Street, east on King Street and south on Sumach and Cherry Streets, to Distillery Loop.

    Go Transit is going to have schedule changes in the following lines starting January 6:

    • 52 – Oshawa / Hwy. 407 Terminal

    • 92 – Oshawa / Yorkdale
    • 96 – Pickering / Square One
