The Transport Minister made a surprise announcement last week
On 13 November 2018, while on the inspection visit of the Transport Minister to BRT facility in Bandar Sunway, the Transport Minister Anthony Loke had announced during the press conference, that starting 1 December, fare on the BRT will be reduced by 20%

Card or cash, you still will enjoy the discount!
The fare reduction will be applied across the board. Whether if you’re Touch n Go user or cash user via single journey token, fare reduction is automatic for everyone. Transport Minister also announced that further discount will be given in near future for users on Touch n Go.

Reduction of up to RM1.10 per trip
End to end trip from USJ7 to Setia Jaya will be reduced to RM4.30 from original RM5.40, a reduction of RM1.10. During the press conference, Minister Anthony also encourage frequent users to take up the new monthly pass which will take into effect starting 1 Jan, where the RM100 pass will include unlimited rides on the BRT.
