- Night Network services will not run.

- Tram services will run to a Sunday timetable with first service running at normal weekday time.

Metropolitan and regional buses
Most buses will run to a Sunday timetable. The following regional bus services will run on Christmas Day to a Sunday timetable. All other regional bus services are cancelled.

The following V/Line coaches will operate on Christmas Day. All other coach services are cancelled.

Lorne/Apollo Bay services operate to a normal Sunday timetable. The Summer Holiday additional coaches do NOT operate on Christmas Day.

- The 9:10pm Melbourne – Mildura service will operate to a normal Sunday timetable.
- The 10:05pm Mildura – Melbourne service will operate to a normal Sunday timetable.
Shepparton/Cobram & Shepparton/Griffith
- The 12:03pm Shepparton – Cobram service will operate to a normal Sunday timetable.
- The 9:18pm Shepparton – Griffith service will operate to a normal Sunday timetable.
- The 5:37am Cobram – Shepparton service will operate to a normal Sunday timetable.

From 9am to 8pm, extra trams will run for Boxing Day Test Cricket:
- Route 70a will run between Stop 7 MCG/John Cain Arena and Stop 4 Elizabeth Street or Stop D6 Flinders Street West.
- Route 75a will run between Stop 11 Jolimont Station and Stop 4 Elizabeth Street or Stop D6 Flinders Street West.
