Transportation updates for this week

    Dear passengers, we’ve collected major transportation 🚌 🚆 updates for this week so you won’t miss any important changes.

    Jerusalem Day:

    On Sunday, 2 June, various events will take place throughout Jerusalem for Jerusalem Day.

    The light rail will operate a shortened service from approximately 16:00 to 20:00: From Mount Herzl Station to Central Bus Station and from Heil Ha-Avir Station to Ammunition Hill Station.

    During these hours there will be no service between Central Bus Station and Ammunition Hill Station.

    Changes are expected on the following bus lines:

    Egged – 1, 3, 6, 7, 7A, 9, 13, 17, 18, 19, 19A, 22, 25, 40, 45, 52, 30, 32, 34, 34A, 71, 72, 77, 77A, 38, 65, 66, 74, 75, 78, 83A, 491, 492, 554, 555, 556

    Egged Taavura – 124, 125, 174, 175, 176, 177, 178, 215, 216

    Eid al-Fitr:

    The holiday will take place Tuesday through Thursday (4 June to 6 June). During this time the frequency of some lines will be decreased. Please note the updated timetables of the lines and plan your travel accordingly.

    Changes in railway traffic:

    From Thursday, 30 May at 22:00 until Sunday, June 2 at 04:30, the Bnei Brak-Tel Aviv University, Tel Aviv Savidor Central-Tel Aviv Hahagana, and Tel Aviv-Hahagana-Lod sections will be closed due to track work. Changes in 🚆 traffic are expected.

    In addition, from Friday, 31 May and until further notice, Tel Aviv Hahagana-Lod and Tel Aviv Hahagana-Modiin Central sections will be closed on weekends for track electrification works.

    Free shuttles will be available. Moovit is updated according to these changes.
