Dallas COVID-19 Transit Updates

    Updates as of June 22nd, 2020

    DART

    • All light rail service will operate at a 20-minute frequency throughout the day.
    • All bus routes will have service on weekdays, except routes 155 and 887-Rowlett FLEX. Route 155 customers have access to route 554 and 887-Rowlett FLEX customers have access to GoLink Service.
    • No changes are being made to the Dallas Streetcar schedule nor weekend bus and light rail service.
    • No changes to GoLink Service.
    • All DART Transit Center indoor seating areas have been closed.
    • DART strongly recommends that passengers wear cloth face coverings on transit vehicles and in public settings in addition to practicing social distancing measures.
    • Based on recommendations from the CDC, DART encourages you to buy your transit pass with the GoPass app instead of at a ticket vending machine to avoid contact with surfaces others may have touched.

    Trinity Metro: 

    DCTA: 

    • A-train service is provided hourly Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday service remains the same.
    • Denton and Lewisville Connect fixed route service run the same routes with reduced service hours and frequency.
    • Denton Connect Routes 5 and 8 are temporarily suspended to reduce route duplications during COVID-19.
    • The University of North Texas (UNT) campus shuttles will transition to a summer schedule.

    Grapevine Visitor Shuttles: 

    • All Grapevine Shuttles are suspended at this time.

    Star Transit: 

    • Operating on a regular schedule for essential trips only.
    • Fares are waved during this time.
    • Terrell Bus Route 803 and the Kaufman Trolley are suspended until further notice.
