Today, Thursday, 30.10.25, the “Million Rally” will take place in Jerusalem. From 12:00 until approximately 19:00, many areas within the city and its entrances will be closed to traffic.
Heavy traffic and changes to public transport routes are expected.
We’ve gathered all the key updates you should know.
🚆 Israel Railways
Due to expected crowds, on Thursday (30.10.25), following the planned prayer rally in Jerusalem, it was decided in coordination with the Israel Police that Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon station will be closed from 12:30 until service resumes after the rally. The closure is for public safety, as the station is located in the heart of the event.
All other train lines and stations will operate as usual.
🚈 Cfir – Jerusalem Light Rail
Due to the demonstrations expected to take place on Thursday, October 30, 2025 (8 Cheshvan 5786), changes will occur in the light rail service starting at 12:00 (estimated) and continuing until the end of the demonstrations.
The train will operate on a partial service pattern in two sections:
- From Neve Yaakov North station to Davidka station.
- From Hadassah Ein Kerem station to Denia Square station.
Please note, the train will not operate between Davidka station and Denia Square station.
The light rail will operate according to the instructions of the Israel Police and security forces present on site.

🚧 Changes to Intracity Bus Routes and Blocking of Roads by the Israel Police: 🚧
Due to planned road closures by the police, public transportation will not operate on the following routes between 12:00 noon and the end of the event (which is estimated to be 19:30), and the following blocking and changes will take place:
- The entrance route to Jerusalem, in the section between Sakharov Garden and the Chords Bridge.
- The following streets: Shazar St., Jaffa St. (near the Central Bus Station), Chords Bridge, Bar Ilan intersection, Bar Ilan St., Yirmiyahu St., Sarei Yisrael St., Shamgar St., Malchei Yisrael St., Brandeis St,. HaMag St., Yehezkel St., Strauss St., Yeshayahu St..
- Intracity bus lines will be diverted to nearby alternate routes as much as possible to avoid the blocked areas. In addition, some routes will operate with shortened service to the blocked area and will not continue beyond the closure point.
- Intracity bus lines 54 and 89 will not operate during the blocking of streets
🚧 Changes to Departure and Arrival Points for Intercity and Suburban Bus Lines: 🚧
- Most lines coming from Route 1, Route 443, and the Jordan Valley area will be redirected to the Arazim Terminal area.
- Lines from Beit Shemesh and the Jerusalem Corridor will run to Mount Herzl or the Hartom Terminal.
- Benyamin and Ma’ale Adumim lines will run to Ammunition Hill.
- Gush Etzion, Kiryat Arba, and Tzur Hadassah routes will run to the Malha area.
- Mevasseret lines will be diverted to Route 16, and run to the Cinema City area.
- Modi’in Illit routes will run to the Hartom Terminal area.
- Beitar Illit routes will reach both the Har Tuv Terminal and Givat HaTachmoshet.
