Denver COVID-19 Transit Updates

Updates as of March 23, 2020

RTD

RTD services are currently operating as scheduled. To promote social distancing, riders are asked to limit time spent in RTD stations to 10 minutes. RTD administrative buildings, including 1660 Blake St, are closed to all visitors.

HOP in Boulder is running as scheduled

Buff Bus (University of Colorado Boulder): 

Buff Bus Service has been modified in response to campus efforts to limit the spread of COVID-19. With the move to remote learning and work arrangements, demand for Buff Bus transit has been significantly reduced as there are fewer students and employees on campus. However, a pair of Buff Bus routes have been deemed critical campus services during this time to accommodate the students, faculty and staff who may still need to utilize them.

Bustang:

Amtrak: 

California Zephyr is operating as scheduled.

Winter Park Express has been canceled for the remainder of the season.

RFTA: 

RFTA is enacting its Phase 2 service reductions, Effective Monday, March 23, which will affect all routes and services.  Service reductions include:

Eagle County Transit (ECO Transit):

Service Reductions as follows:

3X Vail/Beaver Creek Express
All scheduled service will be discontinued. Passengers can access Beaver Creek from Vail via ECO’s 6 Highway 6 route.

4X Valley Express East
-Run departing Eagle Valley High School at 5:45 p.m.
-Passengers can catch the regular 4 Valley East bus at 5:54 p.m.

4X Valley Express West
-Runs departing Vail Transportation Center at 6:40 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.
-Passengers can catch the regular 4 Valley West buses at 6:51 a.m. and 10:21 p.m.

Town of Vail Bus Service:

All service is suspended until further notice.

Breck Free Ride:

All service is suspended beginning 3/17 until further notice.

Snowmass Village Transit: 

Reduced Schedule starts Monday, March 23rd

Route #1 – 30 minute service from 6:30am mall departure until 11:00 pm mall departure.

Route #2 – “on request”

Route #3 – Normal winter season departures: 15 minute service from 6:35 am mall departure until 5:20 mall departure, 30 minute service until 11:20 pm mall departure. Two Creeks “on request.”

Route #4 – 20 minute service from 7:00am mall departure until 5:00pm mall departure.

Route #5 – Normal winter season departures: 20 minute service leaving the center from 6:50am until 8:50pm center departure.

Route #6 – Normal winter season departures: 20 minute service from the mall from 7:00am until 8:40pm mall departure.

Route #8 – Normal winter season departures: 30 minute service from the mall from 7:05am until 11:05pm mall departure. Horse ranch on request beginning at 5:15pm rather than 6:15pm.

Ride request service after routes are done will continue to operate as usual. Last call at 12:45pm.

Avon Transit: 

Transit Operations are continuing with modifications. The Red Line, Blue Line, and the Night Rider will operate per schedule. For Beaver Creek Village, please transfer to the Beaver Creek bus at the Elk lot. The Skier Express Shuttle and Restaurant Shuttle are not operational.

The Lift Winter Park: 

Starting to run summer schedules starting March 23rd.

Ski Area Shuttles:

Peak 1 Express – Suspending all service starting March 19th, 2020

Epic Mountain Express – Suspending all service starting March 19th, 2020

Home James Transportation – Suspending all service starting March 20th, 2020
