All March 2020 Rapid Passes are valid on buses until 30th April 2020
Following the phase 2 of the Movement Control Order (MCO) which had all non-essential services closed since 18th March, all Rapid Penang customer service counters had been closed since.
Rapid Penang earlier announced that all Rapid Preferred, Rapid Youth, Rapid Emas for March 2020 and Expired Pas Mutiara is still valid on all Rapid Penang services during MCO period as the renewal of the passes weren’t possible.
Today, Rapid Penang had further announced that all expired passes (Rapid Preferred, Rapid Youth, Rapid Emas, Rapid Best for March 2020) and Pas Mutiara will remain valid until 30th April 2020*.
For Pas Mutiara Users, Rapid Penang’s customer service counter will be open for renewal from 15th April 2020* and the renewal shall be active from 1st May onward. For the time being, Pas Mutiara holder just need to show the pass to bus captain when boarding just like other passes until 30th April 2020.
