It’s easy to Go Metro to LA Pride in the Park & the LA Pride Parade this weekend!
Saturday – JUNE 8 – LA PRIDE IN THE PARK AT L.A. STATE HISTORIC PARK
Ricky Martin, headlines LA Pride in the Park this year. You’ll find a world-class stage, scores of exhibitors and vendor booths, sponsor giveaways and all-day activities, dozens of delicious food options to choose from, and multiple bars for the 21-and-over crowd. It’s all happening on over 20 acres of lush green space with a view of the DTLA skyline.
Go Metro: Chinatown Station on the A Line, is just steps from the park. You can transfer to the A Line from Union Station, which serves the Metro B/D (Red/Purple) Lines as well as Metrolink, Amtrak and bus lines run by Metro and other agencies.
Sunday – JUNE 9 – 54RD ANNUAL LA PRIDE PARADE & BLOCK PARTY IN HOLLYWOOD
Over 150 organizations will march this year, using the theme “Power in Pride.” This year’s Grand Marshals are George Takei, Cassandro, El Exotico, and LAFD Chief, Kristin Crowley. The parade will be followed by a free all-day block party right next to the parade route, which will continue into the evening.
Go Metro: The LA Pride Parade begins on Sunday, June 9 at 11 a.m at Highland and Sunset, and will continue along Hollywood Boulevard and surrounding streets. Reach the parade via the Hollywood/Highland and Hollywood/Vine stations on the B (Red) Line.
