Traffic changes due to bike race in Jerusalem

    Dear passengers, on Friday, May 3, the Gran Fondo bike race will take place in Jerusalem.

    As a result, many streets in the city will be closed from 5.30 AM until 8.30 AM.

    The light rail will work as usual, but many bus lines will change their route accordingly:

    Egged -1, 3 א4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30א, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 38, 39, 39א, 49, 50, 66, 68, 71, 72, 74, 75, 77, 77א, 78, 82, 83א, 150, 163.

    Egged Taavura – 122, 124.

    Afikim – 485.

    The following streets will be closed:

    Derech David Banbanishty, Dov Yosef, Yaakov Pat, Herzog, Azza, Burla, Derech Balfour, Yeshayahu Leibowitz, Ben Maimon Boulevard, Ramban, David Hamelech, David Remez, Hebron Road (from the Miriam Hahachmonait junction to the Old City), Hativat Yerushalayim, Yitshak Kariv, Keren Hayesod, Haim Hazaz, Ruppin, Hamuzeonim Boulevard, the University Gate, Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, Shmuel Bait, Herzl Boulevard, Kiryat Hayovel, Yefe Nof, Pirhei Hen, David Mordechai Meir, Israel Shukhman, Hazikaron, Ein Kerem.

    Route 386 from Ein Kerem to Nes Harim junction and route 3866 from Nes Harim Junction to Moshav Mahseya will be closed until 13.00. The streets will open according to the progress of the race. Begin Road and Eshkol Boulevard will remain open for traffic.
