METRO customers will experience uninterrupted service, thanks to our “800 Rail Shuttle” buses, which will run along the impacted segment. Shuttles are scheduled to arrive every 10 minutes, and METRO personnel will be available to help.

Delays Expected
I-45 Ramp Closings to Create Travel Delays in the Downtown Area
Beginning Friday, July 8, at 9:00 p.m., entrance ramps to I-45 South at Houston Avenue, Rusk and Allen Parkway will close as part of a major construction project in the corridor. These shutdowns will also impact the ramp distribution system that allows traffic to transition from I-45 South to Dallas, Bagby and Pierce.
You will experience delays in service due to this construction.
