WHEN: Sunday, July 17 – Thursday, July 21 between the hours of 10:30 p.m. – 4:00 a.m.
WHERE: Between Altic / Howard Hughes and Theater District stations
WHY: METRO is working with its partners to accommodate ongoing construction near the Green/Purple Lines in the downtown area and the Altic / Howard Hughes station on the Green Line.
The work includes:
- Construction work for the Houston First building project at Rusk and Avenue De Las Americas
- Construction work for the Marriott Marquis building project at Convention Station at Rusk
- Construction work for the Texaco building project on Capitol between San Jacinto and Fannin
- METRO signal work at Harrisburg and Lockwood
METRO customers will experience uninterrupted service thanks to our “800 Rail Shuttle” buses, which will run along the impacted segment. Shuttles are scheduled to arrive every 10 minutes and METRO personnel will be available to provide assistance.
