Israel Railways service update

Dear riders,

Starting Saturday evening (May 29), Israel Railways will extend its operating hours throughout the country and will add service on several lines as follows:

🚆 Sunday – Thursday: Extended operating hours 

  • Ha’Emek Line (Beit Shean – Atlit) will extend its hours to 22:30
  • Haifa Hof Hacarmel – Karmiel line will extend its hours to 23:00
  • Tel Aviv Savidor Center – Beit Shemesh line will extend its hours to 23:00

Herzliya – Yitzhak Navon line: Extended operating hours and additional service on Saturday evenings

Trains on this line will extend their operating hours during the week and will operate on Saturday evenings at a frequency of one train per hour, in each direction, between 21: 00-23: 00 (approximately).

Tel Aviv Savidor Center – Beit Shemesh line: Extended operating hours and additional service on Friday and Saturday evenings

Trains on this line will operate on Fridays (approximately between 6:00 – 14:00) and on Saturday evenings between 21:00 – 23:00, at a frequency of one train every hour, in each direction.

Passenger capacity and entry voucher – In accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Transportation, the allowed capacity on trains has been increased from 75% to 100%. Also, there is no need to order an entry voucher.


Moovit is updated with the latest changes released by the Ministry of Transportation.
