    Local Bus

    WMATA

    Metrorail

    • Metrorail service runs weekly from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM and from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM on weekends
    • Red Line Trains run every 15 minutes while Orange, Blue, Yellow, Green Trains run every 20 minutes on Weekdays
    • Red Line Trains run every 20 minutes while Orange, Blue, Yellow, Green Trains run every 30 minutes on Weekends
    • Arlington Cemetery station remains closed until further notice
    • Nine Orange and Silver Line stations west of Ballston are closed
    • July 6-18, 2020

      Work zone: Green Line and Yellow Line – U Street to Fort Totten
      Stations closed: Columbia Heights and Georgia Ave-Petworth

      Customer impact:

      • Free shuttle buses replace trains between U Street and Fort Totten (lower level) stations, with stops at Columbia Heights and Georgia Ave-Petworth stations.
      • Yellow Line trains will operate between Huntington and U Street ONLY. Use Green Line for service to/from stations north of Fort Totten.
      • Consider using Red Line as an alternate when traveling between Fort Totten and Gallery Place-Chinatown.

    Metrobus

    • Metrobus service runs weekly from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM and from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM on weekends
    • Effective on July 16, G12 & G14 Buses will detour due to construction on Southway in Greenbelt – for more info. see HERE
