The first phase will be introduced on 23 June, with the second phase being introduced later this year.
The fare adjustment applies to both cash and Leap fares.
Tickets purchased using a TFI Leap card or via the TFI Go App offer the best value in fares. Half-price fares apply for young adults aged 19-25 years who hold a valid Young Adult Leap Card and students aged 26 years and above who hold a valid Student Leap Card.
