    Darkness into Light 2024

    Location: Phoenix Park, Dublin 8, Ireland

    Date: 11th May 2024

    Dublin Bus 

    There will be a free shuttle bus service for Darkness into Light, Phoenix Park. Buses will depart from stop 7078 Parkgate Street to Chesterfield Road from 02.00hrs on Saturday 11 May 2024.

    The walk will commence at 04.15hrs and it is advised that all participants arrive at least 45 minutes prior to the start time. A return service will operate from the Phoenix Monument to Parkgate Street directly after the walk.

    Location: Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Dublin

    Getting there by Bus

    To Heuston Station
    (five minutes walk via Military Road):

    • Bus no.26 from Wellington Quay;
    • 51, 79 from Aston Quay;
    • 90 Dart Feeder Bus from Connolly and Tara Street stations.

    To James Street (5 minutes walk via steps to Bow Lane onto Irwin Street and Military Road):

    • Bus no. 123 from O’Connell Street/Dame Street;

    Getting there by Train
    • From Celbridge go to Heuston Station; 5 minute walk from Heuston Station.
    • From Maynooth go to Connolly Station
    • From Greystone go to Connolly Station.
    • From Balbriggan go to Connolly Station.

    From Connolly take LUAS Red Line towards Saggart to Heuston Station.

    Getting there by LUAS (Tram)
    • Take Red Line from The Point towards Saggart, exit to Heuston Station and it is 5 minute walk to East Gate entrance via Military Road.
