Israel Railways Activity on the Weekend of 27-28/10/23

Dear passengers,

Due to the security situation, train services will be increased over the weekend, with trains operating on Friday night and throughout Saturday. The rides will be free of charge. There is no need to validate a trip in the app.

On Friday evening, with the conclusion of regular service (as part of the current schedule), starting around 17:00 (approximately), and throughout the night, as well as on Saturday until around 20:00:

  • Trains will be operated with a frequency of one train every two hours, in each direction, between the stations Nahariya, Haifa Merkazit HaMifratz, Netanya, Tel Aviv Savidor Central, Ben Gurion Airport, and Be’er Sheva Central.
  • Additionally, trains will be operated at a frequency of one train every hour, in each direction, between the stations Tel Aviv Savidor Central and Ben Gurion Airport.

These trains will operate until the resumption of regular service on Saturday night.

 

Additionally, due to security constraints, several train stations are closed for service, and alternative shuttle service is provided:

Stations with alternative bus service: (Buses will depart once an hour)
Ahihud, Beit She’an, Afula, Kfar Baruch, Kfar Yehoshua, Rishon LeZion HaRishonim, Beit Shemesh, Ramla, Dimona.

Additional closed stations:
Kiryat Hayim, Hod Hasharon Sokolov, Raanana South, Holon Junction, Bat Yam Komemiyut, Paatei Modi’in, Lod Ganei Aviv, Kfar Chabad, Mazkeret Batya, Yavne Mizrah, Kiryat Malachi Yoav.

On Friday and Saturday, 27-28.10.23, the following stations will also be closed: Haifa Hutzot HaMifratz, Be’er Ya’akov, and Netanya Sapir.

In accordance with the security forces’ instructions, the Sderot, Netivot, and Ofakim stations are temporarily closed and train services are not operating at these stations.

🔔 Please note – Reservists recruited as part of the emergency call-up (Order 8) may travel by train for free, without having to purchase a ticket. Please approach one of the station staff members and present an emergency Call-Up Order 8 recruitment certificate, or arrive in military uniform.
