    ⚠️ Expect changes in service levels for public transportation on Independence Day ⚠️

    WMATA

    Metrorail: On July 4th there will be a reduced number of trains running from 7 AM to midnight 12 AM

    Metrobus: On July 4th numerous routes will detour due to celebrations taking place on the holiday downtown – please provide yourself extra time to get to your destination

    Local Bus:  Sunday/Holiday schedule

    Metro Subway:  Sunday/Holiday schedule

    Light Rail:  Sunday/Holiday schedule

    MARC Train:

    • July 4 – No service on the Camden or Brunswick Lines.  The Penn Line will operate on a Sunday schedule.

    Commuter Bus: No service, except Commuter Bus #201, which will operate on a Weekend/Holiday schedule
