Introducing Limited Stop Kelana Jaya Line Service!
RapidRail, the operator of RapidKL LRT service had recently introduced a special, limited-stop trip on the Kelana Jaya Line that will skip 5 stations from Gombak to Ampang Park where the service is often crowded during peak hours in the morning.
The special limited-stop trip will depart from Gombak at 8.00 am every weekday, calling at Wangsa Maju at 8.04 am, Setiawangsa at 8.09 am, Ampang Park at 8.17 am, then the train will continue on calling at every station from Ampang Park to Putra Heights. Skipped stations are Taman Melati, Sri Rampai, Jelatek, Dato’ Keramat, and Damai.
How do I know if the coming train is a limited-stop service trip?
Announcements will be made on the station via Public Address (PA) and Arrival Board at the platform level prior to the arrival of the train. If you’re travelling to the skipped station, you may want to wait for the next train or you can take the train to the next station closest to your destination, and transfer to the opposite direction train to your destination station.
Note: The limited-stop service runs only on weekdays, excluding public holidays.
