From Saturday 23 December 2023 until Tuesday 2 January 2024, planned work, closures and service changes may affect your journey.
- On Christmas Eve, services will finish earlier than normal.
- On Christmas Day, there will be no Tube, rail, bus, tram, river or IFS Cloud Cable Car services. Taxi and private hire, Santander Cycles, e-scooters, Dial-a-Ride and some coach services will be available
- On Boxing Day, there will be no Elizabeth line or National Rail services, no service on most London Overground routes and part of the Bakerloo line.
Bus strike – December 2023
A strike by RATP Dev Transit London bus drivers will affect 8 routes, mostly in west London.
From approximately 05:00 Thursday 21 to approximately 06:00 Sunday 24 December, little or no service is expected on the affected routes, including night services. A normal service is expected to resume after approximately 06:00 Sunday 24 December.

Jubilee line
Canada Water station temporary closures
In connection with planned work on the London Overground platforms, we expect Canada Water station to temporarily close at the following times:
- Tuesday 26, Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 December, between approximately 10:40 – 11:10 and 15:40 – 16:10
This will result in the Jubilee line not stopping at Canada Water during these times.

- No westbound service from Camden Road to Willesden Junction after 23:45 each night

- No southbound service from Willesden Junction to Shepherd’s Bush until 06:15 each day

- No service between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction
Sunday 24 December
- No service between Euston and Kilburn High Road until 12:00
Sunday 24 December until Wednesday 27 December
- No service between Barking and Barking Riverside
Tuesday 26 December
- No service on all lines, except between:
- Shepherd’s Bush and Clapham Junction, from 09:00 until 20:00 only
- New Cross Gate and Crystal Palace, from 08:00 until 22:15 only

- No service between Sydenham and West Croydon
Tuesday 26 until Friday 29 December
- No service between Highbury & Islington and New Cross/New Cross Gate
Elizabeth line

- No service between Paddington and Ealing Broadway
- Reduced service between Ealing Broadway and Heathrow/Reading

- No service on the entire line
