London Strikes – November 2022

National rail strikes suspended

National rail strikes planned for Saturday 5, Sunday 7 and Wednesday 9 November have been suspended.

However, due to short notice, national rail and some TfL services will still be disrupted.

The planned strike action on Thursday 10 November is still going ahead and will affect the entire London Underground network. London Overground and DLR services may be subject to last minute changes, including non-stopping at some stations shared with London Underground.

Saturday 5 November

There will be disruption to national rail and some TfL services that share track with Network Rail.

This includes changes to Elizabeth line services.

West (Paddington-Reading/Heathrow) Central (Paddington-Abbey Wood)  East (Liverpool Street-Shenfield)
  • Very limited service between Paddington and Heathrow/Reading
  • Heathrow service only running to Terminal 4
  • Trains terminate at Paddington
  • Before 17:00: normal service
  • After 17:00: reduced service

 

  • Very limited service Liverpool Street-Shenfield
  • Trains terminate at Liverpool Street

Thursday 10 November – Tube strikes

There are strikes planned on the Tube. There will be limited or no Tube services running.

Tube

  • There will be limited or no services running
  • Avoid travelling on the Tube

London Overground

  • Services may be subject to last minute changes, including non stopping at some stations shared with London Underground
  • Services may be extremely busy

Elizabeth line

  • Elizabeth line services from Reading, Heathrow, and Shenfield will connect with the central tunnels of the line
  • Services may be extremely busy

Trams

  • There will be a reduced service
  • Services may be extremely busy

DLR

  • Services may be subject to last minute changes, including non stopping at some stations shared with London Underground

Friday 11 November

Disruption will continue until around 08:00 on services that were affected by Thursday’s strikes.
