London Pride 2023

Planning to watch the colourful parade on the parade route and celebrate alongside the LGBTQ+ community whilst the diverse and vibrant parade passes by?

 

Date: Saturday 1 July 2023

Time: London Pride parade will start at noon at Hyde Park Corner. The grandstand in Haymarket will be open from 11am.

How to get there:

  • Take the Piccadilly line to Hyde Park Corner to catch the parade start.
  • Or jump to the end at Whitehall Place near Embankment – serviced by the Bakerloo, Circle, District and Northern lines.
  • You can also take the 243 or 76 bus.

Parade Route:

  • Starting from Hyde Park Corner, leading down to Piccadilly Circus & turning south onto Haymarket and Trafalgar Square before ending in Whitehall Place

Additional info:

  • There will be over 600 groups and over 30,000 participants in tow. The mayor of London will lead the parade and there’ll be entertainment across five stages and a family area. Plus, it’s entirely free to watch.

Event travel advice

To view the Pride in London Parade, use Leicester Square, Charing Cross or Embankment. For step-free access, use Green Park, Westminster or Victoria. To travel to the Soho ‘Event Stages’ use Oxford Circus, Leicester Square and Charing Cross. For step-free access use Tottenham Court Road.

For BST Hyde Park use Marble Arch, Paddington, Knightsbridge and Hyde Park Corner. For step-free access, use Bond Street, Green Park or Victoria.

 

Where can you see performances in the London Pride Parade line-up?

There will be multiple stages where you can enjoy the performances including:

  • Trafalgar Square – here you can watch performances from the West End cast of Six the Musical, Winners of Pride’s Got Talent 2023, Idina Menzel and Adam Lambert
  • The Dean Street Cabaret Stage
  • The Golden Square World Stage
  • The LGBTQIA Women and Non-Binary Stage in Leicester Square

 

London Overground

Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 July
  • No service between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction

Sunday 2 July

  • Services to Chingford will not call at Bethnal Green station until after 23:30
  • Use London Overground services to Cheshunt or Enfield Town.

Monday 3 to Thursday 6 July

  • No westbound service between Camden Road and Willesden Junction after 23:45 each night

Tuesday 4 to Friday 7 July

  • No southbound London Overground service between Willesden Junction and Shepherd’s Bush until 06:15 each day
