2024 UEFA Champions League final events: Thurs 30 May - Sun 2 June

    Please be aware, the 2024 UEFA Champions League Final will take place at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 1 June.From Thursday 30 May to Sunday 2 June, the Champions Festival will be taking place across numerous sites in central London including:

    • Trafalgar Square
    • Regent Street
    • Somerset House
    • The South Bank area
    • Potters Field Park

    Advice for travelling around London:

    • On Saturday 1 June public transport is likely to be very busy, particularly the Jubilee and Metropolitan lines.
    • From Wednesday 29 May until Sunday 2 June there will be road closures change changes to how some buses and Cycleways operate in Central London.

    Advice for attending the Champions Festival
    Use public transport to get to the Champions Festival sites. The nearest stations are:

    • Trafalgar Square (Charing Cross or Leicester Square stations)
    • Regent Street (Oxford Circus, Piccadilly Circus and Bond Street stations)
    • Somerset House (Temple, Holborn and Charing Cross stations)
    • Potters Field (London Bridge and Tower Hill stations)
    London Underground

    On Saturday 1 June, the following stations are expected to be very busy:

    • Baker Street
    • Bond Street
    • Canary Wharf
    • Charing Cross
    • Embankment
    • Marble Arch
    • Waterloo
    • Westminster
    • Wembley Park
    • Wembley Central

    Central line

    Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 June

    • No service between North Acton and West Ruislip

     

    London Overground

    Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 June

    • No service between Hackney Downs and Cheshunt/Enfield Town

    Sunday 2 June

    • No service between Willesden Junction and Clapham Junction until 09:30
    • No service between Kensington (Olympia) and Clapham Junction until 10:30
    • No service between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction

     

    Elizabeth line

    Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 June

    • No service between Paddington and Abbey Wood, and between Whitechapel and Stratford
    • Reduced service between Paddington and Maidenhead/Heathrow
    • The last service from Heathrow T5 (00:07) to Paddington will terminate at Ealing Broadway instead

    Sunday 2 June

    • No service between Ealing Broadway and Heathrow T2/3 until 07:00, and between Paddington and Ealing Broadway until 07:45

     

    DLR

    Saturday 1 until Monday 3 June

    • DLR services will close one hour earlier than usual each evening

    Fares Update

    The off-peak Friday fares trial that began on 8 March will end on Friday 31 May 2024.

    From Friday 7 June, peak fares will return on Fridays on Tube, DLR, London Overground, Elizabeth line and national rail services across London and the southeast.
