    Thameslink closure and Oyster card services
    Thameslink closure through central London

    On Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 April, there will be no Thameslink service between Finsbury Park and St. Pancras International, or between St. Pancras International/London Bridge and Wimbledon/Sutton. Trains will not call at Kentish Town on Sunday 21 April.

    Oyster card system maintenance

    From 18:00 on Friday 26 until 08:00 on Saturday 27 April, we will be carrying out essential maintenance on our Oyster card systems. During this time, you will not be able to access any online Oyster services and the Oyster call centre will be temporarily closed.
    London Overground

    Monday 22 until Thursday 25 April

    • No westbound service from Camden Road to Willesden Junction after 23:45 each night

    Tuesday 23 until Thursday 25 April

    • No southbound service from Willesden Junction to Shepherd’s Bush until 06:15 each day

     

    Elizabeth line

    Sunday 21 April

    • No service between Paddington and Hayes & Harlington until 06:30
    • Heathrow Express and Great Western Railway services will also not run during these times. Customers from central London for Heathrow should use the Piccadilly line.
    • Reduced service between Paddington and Maidenhead/Heathrow T4

    Monday 22 until Wednesday 24 April

    • Reduced service between Paddington and Maidenhead/Heathrow after 22:00 each night

     

    London Trams 

    Until Wednesday 24 April

    • No service between East Croydon and New Addington/Beckenham Junction/Elmers End
    London Buses

    Friday 19 April

    O2 Arena, Greenwich

    • From 18:00 until 23:00, a WWE Wrestling event will take place at the O2 Arena. Large crowds and high traffic levels are expected before and after the event.

    Saturday 20 April

    Whitehall

    • Whitehall will be closed for a significant part of the day, due to a wreath laying event.

    Central London

    • From 07:30 until 15:30, the TCS Mini London Marathon 2024 will take place, with the route contained on Horse Guards Road, Birdcage Walk, Spur Road and Constitution Hill. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected along the route.From 10:30 until 14:30, a march will take place from Millbank to Temple Place via Abingdon Street, Parliament Square, Whitehall, Horse Guards Avenue and Embankment. Large crowds are expected.

    Westminster

    • From 10:00 until 14:00, a march will take place from the Chinese Embassy to Richmond Terrace. Large crowds are expected.

    Trafalgar Square

    • From 12:00 until 18:00, a religious event will take place on Trafalgar Square. Large crowds are expected.
