London Service Updates 15 Feb 2024

London Overground strikes/King’s Cross National Rail station closure

London Overground strikes

Planned strike action will affect London Overground services and stations on Monday 19 and Tuesday 20 February, and on Monday 4 and Tuesday 5 March.

No service is expected before 08:00 or after 18:00 on some routes and services that do run are expected to be busier than normal.

Some stations will be closed, and some stations will be open but unstaffed.

Customers requiring assisted travel on London Overground services are strongly encouraged to pre-book before travelling, as staff will not be available at all stations to assist on a turn-up-and-go basis.

King’s Cross National Rail station closure

From Saturday 17 until Tuesday 20 February, there will be no long-distance trains from King’s Cross National Rail station due to Network Rail signalling upgrade work.

For travel to destinations on the East Coast Main Line such as Peterborough, Cambridge, Yorkshire, the north east and Scotland, use alternative national rail services from St Pancras, to connect with rail replacement buses. A very limited Great Northern service will run from King’s Cross to Potters Bar (except on Sunday).
