Do not travel: Major disruption between London Marylebone and Bicester North / Oxford today

Between London Marylebone and Oxford / Banbury / Birmingham Moor Street

 

Due to recent heavy rainfall, a landslip has occurred between Haddenham & Thame Parkway and Bicester North. Network Rail are undertaking urgent repairs and all lines are closed between Haddenham & Thame Parkway and Bicester North / Bicester Village until 07:00 on Tuesday 16 January.

Chiltern Railways are advising customers DO NOT TRAVEL as there is no direct service available between London Marylebone and Oxford / Banbury / Birmingham Moor Street.

 

Alterations to the service on Monday 15 January:

Trains from London Marylebone towards Banbury and Birmingham Moor Street will be cancelled or amended to terminate at Haddenham & Thame Parkway.

Trains from Birmingham Moor Street and Banbury towards London Marylebone will be cancelled or amended to terminate at Bicester North.

A limited rail replacement bus service will be running between Haddenham & Thame Parkway and Bicester North.

Trains between London Marylebone and Oxford will be cancelled in full. A train shuttle service is running between Bicester Village and Oxford.
