Affected Dates:
Tuesday 21 June – Sunday 26 June 2022
TfL services and national rail will be affected by strikes from Tue 21 to Sun 26 June.
- London-wide strikes affecting Tube and other TfL services on Tuesday 21 June and services until mid-morning on Wednesday 22 June
- National rail strikes on Tuesday 21, Thursday 23 and Saturday 25 June affecting Elizabeth line and London Overground services, and some Tube services, on strike days and until mid-morning on the days after strikes
On Tuesday 21 June
- Most TfL and national rail services will be severely disrupted or not running, including:
- The Tube
- London Overground
- The Elizabeth line
- London Trams
- National rail (nationwide)
- Buses, the DLR and any other services which are running will be extremely busy with queues to board
- If you have to travel, finish your Tube or rail journey by 18:00
- London Overground services will run 07:30-18:30
On Wednesday 22 June
- No Tube services will run before 08:00
- Avoid making Tube journeys until mid-morning – disruption is likely to continue
- Reduced service on the London Overground and Elizabeth line until mid-morning
On Thursday 23 to Sunday 26 June
- Strikes on national rail services (nationwide) on Thurs 23 and Sat 25 June
- Reduced service on the London Overground and Elizabeth line (where TfL uses national rail assets) as well as parts of the Tube on Thurs 23 and Sat 25 June
- London Overground services will run 07:30-18:30 on Thurs 23 and Sat 25 June
- Disruption following strikes likely on the Tube, Elizabeth line and London Overground on Friday 24 and Sun 26 June
Tube
Thursday 23 and Saturday 25 June
Due to the national rail strike, disruption is expected on the following sections of line:
- Bakerloo line – Queens Park to Harrow and Wealdstone
- District line – Richmond and Wimbledon branches (services will only operate between 07:30 and 18:30)
There is a planned closure on the Waterloo & City line on Saturday 25 June.
There are Friday and Saturday night strikes on the Central, Jubilee and Victoria lines (see below).
Friday 24 and Sunday 26 June
Following the national rail strike, some morning disruption is expected on these sections of line:
- Bakerloo line – Queens Park to Harrow and Wealdstone
- District line – Richmond and Wimbledon branches
- Waterloo & City line (does not operate on Sundays)
There are Friday and Saturday night strikes on the Central, Jubilee and Victoria lines (see below).
Elizabeth line
Elizabeth line services will be affected by the strikes.
Thursday 23 and Saturday 25 June
- Services will be affected by the national rail strikes
- Operating hours and train frequencies will be reduced

Following the national rail strikes, services will start later than usual. There may be some disruption on the eastern and western sections of the line.
Trams
Wednesday 22 June – Sunday 26 June
Reduced tram services are likely to run.
London Overground
Wednesday 22, Friday 24 and Sunday 26 June
- Services may still be affected following the national rail strike the previous day
Thursday 23 June, Saturday 25 June
- here will be a reduced service from 07:30
- Around half of all services are likely to run
DLR
- Services will be extremely busy
- DLR services from stations also served by the Tube may have to close
National rail
On strike days (Thurs 23 and Sat 25 June), national rail services will start later and finish much earlier than usual, between 07:30 and 18:30.
On the days following strike days (Wed 22, Fri 24 and Sun 26 June), services are also likely to be affected.
Buses
Buses and local roads in London are not affected by the strikes. They will be much busier than normal, especially on the morning of Wednesday 22 June.
