London National Rail Strikes December 2023

Travelling on Central, Jubilee and Piccadilly lines this weekend and Winter Wonderland

On Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 November, the Central, Jubilee and Piccadilly lines in central and east London are expected to be exceptionally busy.

This is due to planned engineering work by Network Rail for HS2, Heathrow Airport Ltd and some works to sections of the Elizabeth and Piccadilly lines, as well as an increase in people travelling due to a number of large events taking place across this weekend.

While services will be busy all day, the busiest times are expected to be from 10:00 until 21:00 on Saturday, and from 15:00 until 21:00 on Sunday.

Winter Wonderland
If you have tickets for this weekend then Piccadilly, Central and Jubilee lines services to/from Winter Wonderland are expected to be exceptionally busy as stated above. To keep everyone safe, there will be certain times and places where short-term measures such as queueing, changes to the way you enter and exit a station or road closures may be introduced.

The nearest Tube stations are Green Park (Jubilee, Piccadilly and Victoria lines) and Knightsbridge (Piccadilly line) but these are expected to be extremely busy. Stations may be closed or exit-only at busy times. For a quieter journey, travel to/from Bond Street, which is within a 15-minute walk of Hyde Park, Paddington or Victoria which are within a 20 minute walk of the park.
