Industrial action to affect many National Rail and London Bus services from Friday 1 December
National Rail Strike between 1 and 9 December
Strike action has been announced by the ASLEF Union for the following train operators on the following days:

Saturday 2 December – East Midlands Railway and LNER

Sunday 3 December – Avanti West Coast, Chiltern Railways, Great Northern, London Northwestern Railway, Thameslink and West Midlands Railway

Tuesday 5 December – c2c and Greater Anglia (including Stansted Express)

Wednesday 6 December – Gatwick Express, South Western Railway (including Island Line), Southeastern and Southern

Thursday 7 December – CrossCountry, Great Western Railway and Heathrow Express

Friday 8 December – Northern and TransPennine Express
In addition, the ASLEF Union have implemented an overtime ban between Friday 1 December and Saturday 9 December. Some of the above operators service will be affected additionally on those dates.
Bus strike – December 2023
A strike by RATP Dev Transit London bus drivers will affect 8 routes, mostly in west London.
From approximately 05:00 on strike days little or no service is expected on the affected routes, including night services. A normal service is expected to resume after approximately 06:00 the day after the strike.

- No service between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction

- No service between Gospel Oak and Barking Riverside until 13:00
- No service between Stratford and Richmond/Shepherd’s Bush until 13:00
Monday 4 until Thursday 7 December
- No service between Sydenham and West Croydon after 22:15 each night
Elizabeth Line
Sunday 3 December
- Reduced service between West Drayton and Maidenhead, and also at Heathrow T4
- Trains will not call at Acton Main Line, Hanwell and West Ealing
DLR
Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 December
- No service between Stratford International and Woolwich Arsenal
- No service between Poplar and Beckton
