Weekly Travel Changes

    TfL Rail


    Trains will not run on the entire line. This is while Network Rail carry out track and station improvements as part of their Railway Upgrade Plan, as well as Crossrail construction work.

    There is no service between Brentwood and Shenfield until late May. This is while Network Rail carry out major work at Shenfield to upgrade tracks, signalling and overhead lines.

    Overground


    All weekend there will be no service between Romford and Upminster, due to Crossrail construction work and Network Rail infrastructure work.

    On Saturday, trains will not run between Shepherd’s Bush and Willesden Junction, due to Network Rail infrastructure work.

    On Sunday there will be no service between the following stations:
    • Willesden Junction and Clapham Junction, due to Network Rail infrastructure and track work
    • Canonbury and Stratford, due to Network Rail station work at Hackney Wick

    On Monday and Tuesday, there will be no service between Sydenham and West Croydon (southbound only) after 23:45. This is for Network Rail infrastructure work.

    Services between Gospel Oak and Barking will resume on Monday.

    Buses


    Wembley – From 16:30 until 23:30 tonight, Thursday, and from 13:00 until 20:30 on Sunday, roads around the stadium will be busier than usual, including A406, Harrow Road and Wembley High Road.

    Hammersmith – From midnight on Friday night until 05:00 on Monday, King Street will be closed to buses at the junction of Queen Caroline Street. Bus routes 27, 190, 266, 267, 391, H91, N9 and N11 will be diverted.

    Central London – From 14:00 until 20:00 on Sunday, Pall Mall East will be closed. This is due to an event taking place in Trafalgar Square. Duncannon Street and Charing Cross Road southbound from Cambridge Circus may also be closed.

    Waterloo – From 08:00 until 18:00 on Sunday, Stamford Street will be closed eastbound between Waterloo roundabout and Cornwall Road. This is for a crane operation.

    Twickenham – From 12:30 until 19:30 on Sunday, roads in the area will be busier than usual, including A316 Chertsey Road, all roads leading to Twickenham station, and around the stadium. London Road, Whitton Road and Rugby Road will be closed before and after the event.

    Strand Underpass – From 20:00 on Monday until late April, the underpass will be closed and bus route 521 will be diverted.
