    Additional updates:

    • Any line not listed above will remain at the Sunday service level all week.
    • Line 90 will operate full line weekdays between downtown LA and Sylmar (Olive View Medical Center)
    • Line 161 service to Thousand Oaks Transit Center restored weekdays only.
    • Line 234 will operate a short line to Sepulveda/Ventura during weekdays before 9 p.m. when Line 734 is in full-line operation to Expo/Sepulveda Station.
    • Line 237 will operate full line weekdays to Sepulveda/Rinaldi.
    • Lines 244 and 245 will operate full lines weekdays between Chatsworth Station – Topanga Canyon/Ventura.
    • Line 744 will operate both the Van Nuys and Reseda sections on weekdays.
    • Line 788 is being discontinued for the time being. Use Line 234 instead.

    Boarding:

    • The front door will remain available to wheelchair riders and those who need a wheelchair ramp.
    • To assist with social distancing, all Metro Bus riders must board and exit through rear doors only.
    • Rear door; however front door boarding available upon request.
    • Face coverings are required until further notice.

    METRO RAIL

    • G Line (Orange): Buses will run on Saturday/Sunday schedule seven days a week with buses every 10 minutes between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. and every 15 minutes at other times.
    • J Line (Silver): Line 910 will run on Saturday/Sunday schedule seven days a week with buses every 15 minutes between 7:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. and every 15 to 20 minutes at other times. Line 950 to and from San Pedro will run every 30 minutes most of the day. The first northbound 950 trips departing San Pedro at 5:33 a.m. will use a larger, 60-foot bus to help riders maintain physical distancing
    • A Line (Blue): weekday trains will run every 12 minutes between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. and 20 minutes at all other times. Weekend trains will run every 12 minutes between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. and every 20 minutes at all other times.
    • B Line (Red) and D Line (Purple): weekday trains on both lines will run every 12 minutes from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. Weekend trains will run every 12 minutes on both lines from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and every 20 minutes at all other times.
    • C Line (Green): weekday trains will run every 12 minutes from 4 a.m. until 9 a.m., 15 minutes from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. and 12 minutes from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m., and every 20 minutes at all other times. Weekend trains will run every 15 minutes from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and every 20 minutes at other times.
    • E Line (Expo): weekday trains will run every 12 minutes between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. and every 20 minutes at all other times. Weekend trains will run every 12 minutes between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. and every 20 minutes at all other times.
    • L Line (Gold): weekday trains will run every 12 minutes between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. and every 20 minutes at all other times. Weekend trains will run every 12 minutes between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. and every 20 minutes at all other times.
    • Final trips each day departing terminal stations will be at midnight on all trains.

    METRO BIKE

    • Metro Bike Share remains available at this time. We recommend using sanitizing wipes to clean the bike before and after riding and washing your hands after a ride. 
    • Metro Bike Hubs are currently unstaffed but remain open 24/7 for self-parking.

    Antelope Valley Transit Authority (AVTA)

    Effective Monday, Oct. 19, 2020, AVTA will resume regular local & commuter services, with the exception of the school specials & 747/748.

    Beach Cities Transit

    Big Blue Bus:

    Beginning Sunday, September 27, there are schedule adjustments on thirteen (13) routes, restoring weekday service on Rapid 7, and suspending service on Route 16. The changes will help us limit overcrowding as customers return to our system, reallocate service where customers need it most, and ensure that our buses remain a safe and reliable option for getting around the region.

    Burbank Bus:

    Effective Monday, April 13, 2020, BurbankBus will be implementing a service reduction for all routes until further notice:

    • The NoHo-Media District Route will offer service every 30 minutes from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
    • The NoHo-Airport Route will offer service every 30 minutes from 6:00 a.m. to 8:37 p.m.
    • The Pink Route will operate on a regular schedule, but hours will be shortened to 6:30 a.m. to 8:38 p.m.

    The City of Commerce bus service is operating on a modified Saturday schedule. Citadel Express service has been modified.

    Foothill Transit:

    Service updates in effect October 18.

    • Schedule adjustments — Adjusted service on the following lines: Line 291 will have trips every 16 minutes during the middle of the day, we’ve adjusted weekday schedules on duartEbus Lines 860 and 861, and we’ve added an additional westbound trip on Line 490 from the Covina Transit Center.
    • Bus Stop Adjustments — Lines 190 and 194 will end eastbound trips at the Temple and South Campus bus stop to improve connections at Cal Poly Pomona.

    Face covering is required to ride, rear door boarding.

    GTrans:

    GTrans is operating a modified bus schedule seven days a week until further notice. Line 5 will operate daily on weekdays only. Line 4 is temporarily out of service until further notice.

    LADOT:

    Temporary service modifications are still in effect for most community DASH routes and commuter express routes.

    Long Beach Transit:

    LBT is operating a modified bus schedule, until further notice, for customers performing essential activities and traveling to work.

    Routes not in Service: Passport, 52, 81, 92, 93, 96, 102, 175, 176

    Please note – Routes 92, 93, 175 will operate weekdays only!

    45 and 46 not serving CSULB.

    Metrolink Trains:

    Metrolink temporarily operates on a reduced schedule.

    All lines are operating M-F, and Saturday and Sunday service is available on all lines except Ventura County and Riverside. Read more.

    Montebello Bus Lines:

    Montebello Bus temporarily operates on a reduced schedule.

    Effective August 2, 2020 Lines 70 and 90 will return to service. Lines 10 and 40 will increase service.

    Boarding:

    • Enter through the front door, exit through the rear door
    • Passengers are required to wear face masks
    • Maximum of 10 passengers per bus to prevent overcrowding

    Omnitrans:

    Operating adjusted bus services:

    • The frequency will be restored to pre-COVID levels on the following routes: 1, 3, 4, 14, 61, and 66. Freeway Express Route 290 is also returning, with peak service in the early morning and late afternoon.
    • Route 81 will now serve the Ontario-East Metrolink station to provide a connection to train commuters, and the new Route 87 will extend into the Riverside County line to serve the Eastvale Amazon distribution warehouses along Goodman Ave.
    • The routes which will be eliminated include Routes 5, 7, 20, 80, 86, 308/309/310, and 325.
    • New routes launching in September include:
      • Route 6, which combines parts of the previously existing Routes 5 and 7, serving San Bernardino.
      • Route 87, which combines parts of the previously existing Routes 80 and 86, serving Rancho Cucamonga, Ontario, and Eastvale.
      • Route 305, which combines parts of the eliminated Route 5 and OmniGo Route 325 in Grand Terrace.
      • Route 319, which combines the eliminated OmniGo Route 309/310 in Yucaipa.

    Orange County Transportation Agency (OCTA):

    OCTA continues running the current modified schedule as shown below, effective Oct. 11:

    MONDAY-SATURDAY
    OC Bus will operate modified Saturday service on the following routes: 1, 25, 26, 29, 30, 33, 35, 37, 38, 42, 43, 46, 47, 50, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 59, 60, 64, 66, 70, 71, 72, 79, 83, 89, 90, 91, 129, 143, 153, 177, 543, and 862.

    MINOR SCHEDULE CHANGES
    Changes were made to routes 54, 55, 59, 64, 70, 90, and 862.

    WEEKDAYS ONLY
    OC Bus will operate weekday service on the following routes: 76, 82, 85, 86, 87, 123, 167, 177, 178, 453, 463, 472, 473, and 480.

    SUNDAYS
    OC Bus will operate regular Sunday service.

    TEMPORARILY DISCONTINUED ROUTES

    Pasadena Transit:

    Effective August 9:

    • Route 20 weekdays: 12-15 minute service most of the day
    • Route 31/32 weekdays: 18-25 minute service most of the day
    • Route 40 weekdays: 33 minute service all-day
    • Route 51/52 weekdays: 60 minute service all-day
    • Route 60: Temporarily discontinued
    • Current Saturday and Sunday schedules will remain

    Riverside Transit Agency (RTA):

    Riverside Transit Agency has adjusted all routes and schedules.

    Santa Clarita Transit:

    Beginning October 10, 2020, many local routes will have expanded service hours and additional trips. This schedule balances the current needs for public transportation and social distancing and will continue until further direction is provided. Passengers are required to wear face coverings while onboard Santa Clarita Transit vehicles.

    Simi Valley Transit:

    Simi Valley Transit’s Route 10, 20, and 30 are operating. Route A, B, C, and D are no longer in service.

    Effective Monday, July 13, 2020 face masks will be required when riding all Simi Valley Transit vehicles.

    Effective April 10: The City will no longer charge fare on the Fixed Route system until further notice. Also, passengers will only load and unload from the rear door of the bus, however, seniors and individuals with mobility devices may board through the front door. Passengers are also encouraged to wear masks. Please view the Press Release for more information.

    Thousand Oaks Transit:

    Effective Monday, June 1, 2020, all Thousand Oaks Transit services have resumed normal service with new bus routes on August 3, 2020 – Route 40, 41, 42, 43, and 44. Free fares.

    Thousand Oaks Transit is prohibiting eating and drinking is while onboard their buses. The use of face-covering is required at all times. If you need a mask, please request one from your driver.

    Torrance Transit:

    • Torrance Transit will resume its regularly scheduled service starting October 11, 2020.
    • All passengers must wear a face-covering while riding a Torrance Transit bus, and must use the designated seating.
    • Torrance Transit is presently not charging fares.
    • Everyone must board and alight from the rear door.
