Monday, September 3rd – Labor Day Service throughout Los Angeles:
Metro:
Metro Rail and buses will follow Sunday/Holiday schedules.
MetroLink:
Metrolink will provide service regularly available on Sundays.
The schedule includes service on the Antelope Valley Line, the San Bernardino Line, the Orange County Line, the 91/Perris Valley Line and the Inland Empire-Orange County Lines.
Trains will NOT operate on the Ventura County Line nor the Riverside Line, or to the four stations on the Perris Valley Line extension.
The $10 holiday discount will apply on Labor Day.
Long Beach Transit:
All routes will be following a Sunday schedule.
BigBlueBus:
In observance of Labor Day, Big Blue Bus will operate on a Sunday schedule on Monday, September 3.
The Transit Store and Customer Service will be closed. Normal business hours will resume on Tuesday, September 4.
Please note that buses that do not run on Sundays will not operate on Monday, September 3. This includes Rapid 10 and Routes 16, 43, and 44.
UCLA Riders:
- Hilgard Terminal will be closed. Routes 1, 2, and 8 use Charles E. Young/P2 Hub. See below for alternate boarding information.
- Rapid 12 service will begin/end at Gateway Plaza.
- Route 17 service will end at the VA Medical Center.
- Route 18 service will end in Brentwood.
To UCLA
Service ends at Charles E. Young/P2 Hub. Please disembark at the following stops:
- Northbound Westwood Blvd. at Weyburn Ave.
- Northbound Westwood Plaza at Jules Stein Eye Center
- Charles E. Young Dr. between Westholme Ave. and Manning Ave.
Please note the following stop closures:
- Northbound Westwood Blvd. at Le Conte Ave.
- Eastbound Le Conte Ave. at Tiverton Dr.
- Northbound Hilgard Ave. at Manning Ave.
- Northbound Hilgard Ave. at Westholme Ave.
- Hilgard Terminal
To Santa Monica
Service begins on Charles E. Young Dr., between Westholme Ave. and Manning Ave. You may also board at the following stops:
- Southbound Westwood Plaza at Jules Stein Eye Center
- Southbound Westwood Blvd. at Weyburn Ave.
Please note the following stop closures:
- Hilgard Terminal
- Southbound Hilgard Ave. at Westholme Ave.
- Westbound Le Conte Ave. at Tiverton Dr.
- Southbound Hilgard Ave. at Manning Ave.
Foothill Transit:
The following lines will run on their weekend or Sunday schedules on Monday, September 3:
178, 185, 187, 188, 190, 194, 195, 197, 269, 270, 272, 274, 280, 281, 282, 284, 285, 286, 289, 291, 480, 482, 486, 488, 492 and the Silver Streak.
No other buses will be running.
The Puente Hills Transit Store and service at 1-800-RIDE-INFO (743-3463) will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Labor Day. All other Transit Stores will all be closed.
OCTA:
All OCTA Buses will run on Sunday/Holiday schedules
