Major Service Adjustments & More!

    WMATA 

    Metrorail Updates:

        • Metrorail operates from 5:00 a.m. until Midnight on Weekdays, 7:00 a.m. to Midnight on Saturdays, and 8:00 a.m. to Midnight on Sundays

    Weekday service info.

        • Red Line Trains – Regular daytime intervals: Trains every 18 minutes (every 9 minutes between Glenmont – Farragut North) until 7:00 p.m. Weeknights: Trains every 18 minutes
        • Blue Line Trains – Regular daytime intervals: Trains trains every 12 minutes until 7 p.m. Weeknights: Trains every 20 minutes until 9 p.m. then every 24 minutes until closing
        • Orange Line Trains – Regular daytime intervals: Trains every 12 minutes until 7 p.m. Weeknights: Trains every 20 minutes
        • Silver Line Trains – Regular daytime intervals: Trains every 12 minutes until 7 p.m.   Weeknights: Trains every 20 minutes 
        • Yellow Line Trains operate between Huntington and Mt Vernon Sq only. Riders traveling to stations north of Mt Vernon Sq should transfer to the Green Line – Regular daytime intervals: Trains every 12 minutes until 7 p.m.   Weeknights: Trains every 20 minutes
        • Green Line Trains – No train service to West Hyattsville, Prince George’s Plaza, College Park-U of Md, and Greenbelt. Free shuttle buses are provided.  Regular daytime intervals: 12. Weeknights: Trains every 20 minutes

    Weekend service adjustments

        • Red Line Trains every 12 minutes – Cleveland Park & Woodley Park stations will be closed and buses replace train service between Dupont Circle and Van Ness.
        • Blue Line, Silver Line & Orange Line Trains operating every 15-20 minutes
        • Yellow Line Trains operating every 15-20 minutes
        • For Yellow Line Trains operate between Huntington and Mt Vernon Sq only. Riders traveling to stations north of Mt Vernon Sq should transfer to the Green Line.
        • Green Line Trains every 15-20 minutes between Branch Ave and Ft Totten only. West Hyattsville, Prince George’s Plaza, College Park-U of Md, and Greenbelt closed. Free shuttle buses are provided with limited stops.
        • For Green Line Trains – Due to the summer Platform Improvement Project:
          • Trains operate between Branch Ave and Ft Totten only.
          • West Hyattsville, Prince George’s Plaza, College Park-U of Md, and Greenbelt closed.
          • Free shuttle buses will be provided as follows:
          • Limited stop service between Greenbelt, College Park- U of Md & Fort Totten.
          • Limited stop service between Prince George’s Plaza, West Hyattsville & Fort Totten.
          • Local service between Greenbelt, College Park- U of Md Prince George’s Plaza & West Hyattsville.
