MCO had been extended for 3rd time

Movement Restriction Order

Movement Restriction Order (MCO) had been extended for the 3rd time!

The MCO had been extended to 12 May 2020, announced by our Prime Minister last night. During this time, please travel only when it is absolutely essentials.

Here is the overview of public transport changes in Klang Valley

1) Reduced Operation Hours for all services

As per the instruction from the federal government, all public transport services will stop operating from 10am to 4pm 5pm everyday. Services will only operate at a reduced frequency from 6 am to 10 am & 5 pm – 10 pm daily.

2) MRT, LRT & Monorail Reduced Frequency

In line with the reduced demand and instruction from the government, MRT, LRT & Monorail will be operating at 10 minutes frequency during peak hours (7am to 9am & 4pm 5pm to 7pm on weekdays) and 30minutes frequency during the rest of operation hours.

3) Rapid KL Buses

Apart from the frequency change on the rail, Rapid KL Bus service, including the MRT Feeder bus, will also be reduced to around 30% of capacity during normal days. Please do expect longer wait times for buses as the operation of the bus may change based on demand.

Apart from that, here are lines that had been suspended during the MCO

4) Free Shuttle Services

Apart from GoKL City Bus service, which will be operating at a reduced frequency during the MCO, all the other free shuttle services, including Smart Selangor & PJ City Bus will be suspended during the MCO.

5) KTM Komuter

Only 14 trips on Seremban Line & 12 trips on Port Klang Line will run during MCO period.

4) Airport Services
