Commuter Bus Service:
Date: Monday, May 27, 2024 In observance of Memorial Day, Commuter Bus Service will not operate on Monday, May 27, 2024, with the exception of Route 201. Route 201 will adhere to the Weekend/Holiday schedule to accommodate passengers during this period. We urge all passengers to plan their travel accordingly and verify the specific schedule for Route 201 to ensure a smooth journey.
MARC Train Service:
Parking and Traffic Advisory: On Friday, May 24, 2024, the parking lot on the University side of the Bowie State MARC station will be closed to MARC passengers due to Bowie State University’s Spring 2024 Commencement and graduation ceremonies. All MARC passengers must park in the parking lot on the Lemons Bridge Road side of the station, which is the side with the southbound platform towards Washington Union Station. Due to anticipated heavy traffic on Jericho Park Road, Race Track Road, and Route 197, passengers should allow additional time for travel to the southbound parking lot and account for any traffic-related delays. Service Schedule:
- Monday, May 27, 2024: There will be no MARC Train service in observance of Memorial Day. Passengers are advised to make alternative travel arrangements for this day.
- Saturday and Sunday, May 25 and 26, 2024: The Penn Line weekend service will operate on its normal schedule. Passengers should refer to the regular weekend timetable for train times and service details.
