Peak Travel times are:
- Wednesday, Nov. 27 (just before Thanksgiving)
- Saturday, Nov. 30 (post-feast travels)
- Sunday, Dec. 1 (heading home from holiday visits)
Many Agencies operate holiday, alternative, or no service on the following days:
- Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 28
- Day after Thanksgiving, Friday, Nov. 29

🚍Plan Ahead & Take Public Transit to Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving Service by Popular Agency
⚬ Miami Dade Transit
- On Thursday, November 28, 2024, in observance of Thanksgiving, the Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) will be operating Miami-Dade Transit services – Metrobus, Metrorail, and Metromover, including MetroConnect, on a Sunday schedule. However, MetroLink, will not provide service during county observed holidays.
On Friday, November 29, 2024, all Miami-Dade Transit will provide regular weekday service.
⚬ Broward County Transit
- Broward County Transit will operate a Sunday service schedule on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28th, and return to a regular weekday service schedule on Friday, November 29th. There will be no Express Coach or Breeze service on Thanksgiving Day.
⚬ Palm Tran
- Palm Tran will operate on a Sunday/holiday schedule on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28th, and will return to a weekday service schedule on Friday, November 294th.
⚬ Tri-Rail
- Tri-Rail will operate on a weekend schedule on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28th, and will return to a weekday service schedule on Friday, November 29th.
⚬ Key West Transit
- Key West Transit will not operate on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday November 28th, and will return to a weekday service schedule on Friday, November 29th.
⚬ Martin County Transit
- MARTY will not operate on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday November 28th, and will return to a weekday service schedule on Friday, November 29th.
⚬ StarMetro
- StarMetro will not operate on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday November 28th, and will return to a weekday service schedule on Friday, November 29th.
