Reduced service on Monday, Dec. 26

Due to decreased demand on the day after Christmas, Metro Transit and regional transit providers will reduce service on Monday, Dec. 26. Saturday fares will be charged (except where noted). Northstar will follow a reduced schedule on Dec. 26.

The Transit Information Center will be open 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Dec. 26. The Minneapolis Service Center will be open 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. (the St. Paul Service Center will be closed). Customer Relations and Lost & Found will be open 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Routes will follow SATURDAY schedules unless noted here. Some routes will follow Saturday schedules with additional trips. If your route does not have a schedule for Saturday service and is not listed here, it will not operate on Dec. 26.

MVTA will not operate on Christmas Day (Dec. 25). Routes 440, 444 and 445 will follow Saturday schedules on Monday, Dec. 25 (weekend fares will apply). Added trips will be offered on the following routes:

• Northbound trips leaving Braddock & Diffley hourly from 7:03 a.m. to 7:03 p.m.
• Southbound trips leaving 46th St. Station hourly from 6:09 a.m. to 6:09 p.m.

• Northbound trips leaving Burnsville Transit Station at 5:50, 6:22, 6:44, 7:06, 7:39 and 8:05 a.m.

Plymouth Metrolink will not operate on Christmas Day (Dec. 25). There will be no service on Monday, Dec. 26 or Monday, Jan. 2.

 

Maple Grove Transit

Maple Grove Transit will not operate on Christmas Day (Dec. 25). These trips will operate on Monday, Dec. 26, and weekday fares will apply.

SouthWest Transit
