MNR Service Changes, April 7th 2024

April 7, 2024

    Hi Mooviters,

New schedules go into effect today on all three Metro-North East of Hudson lines.

What do you need to know:

✅ The major switch replacement project near Grand Central that began in mid-January has been completed! The trains that were removed have been restored, and the added stops have been removed. Note that some of these changes will remain on Fridays (see below).

⌚️ Many departure times, both peak and off-peak, have moved a few minutes earlier or later to accommodate multiple infrastructure improvement projects throughout our system and to improve reliability. Check Moovit for updated schedules.

⚠️ For the Harlem and Hudson, some Friday rush hour trains will no longer run to match rider usage. Instead, an additional Friday-only midday round trip has been added to each line. Continue reading for details.
