    The Great Montréal Christmas Market
    Where: Place des Festivals

    When: November 25 to December 30, 2023

    A magical journey awaits you at the Place des Festivals in the Quartier des spectacles on Sainte-Catherine Street. Some 40 chalets of local and regional artisans will show off their wares, while a fine selection of gourmet stations will serve up holiday treats to delight young and old alike. Discover over 80 Québec artisans in all and take part in over 150 free activities.

    Montréal Christmas Village
    Where: Atwater Place du Marché, 138 Atwater Avenue at the corner of Saint-Ambroise Street

    When: November 30 to December 24, 2023

    A charming festive village of about fifty booths showcasing the wares of local artisans will once again be set up around the Atwater Market. On the agenda: over 90 free events, including family activities in the Kingdom of the Elves and much more!

     

    VILLERAY, LITTLE ITALY AND ROSEMONT

    Marché des Fêtes du Collectif Créatif de Montréal
    Where: Locoshop Angus, 2600 William Tremblay Street

    When: November 25-26, 2023//December 2-3, 2023

    The seventh edition of the Marché des Fêtes, in partnership with the Technopôle Angus et Le Phare, Enfants et familles, will reunite over 90 creators from Montréal and Québec over the course of two weekends. Don’t miss this excellent opportunity to get your hands on hundreds of local products made with love.

    Where: 7070 Saint-Urbain Street

    When: November 29 to December 3, 2023

    The 19th edition of this avant-garde and creative event will be held this year in the Mile Ex Architects’ district, offering an exceptional selection of fresh Montréal designers, plus experiences to remember. In collaboration with Sid Lee Architecture, SOUK will take over and transform the floors of a vacant former textile factory, while remaining true to its very essence.

    The Jean-Talon Market in Little Italy is decked out in its holiday finest! Experience the magic (and indulgence) of Christmas with festive local products. Holiday spirit abounds with family activities, including Christmas decoration workshops, visits with Santa Claus, singers, choirs and free hot chocolate.

    Cross some gifts off your list while contributing to a worthy cause: the second edition of the La Cabane Children’s Holiday Market offers an array of unique, eco-friendly gifts made by children while raising funds for the La Cabane Family Makeshop, a creative family space.

    Marché de Noël Racines & Friends

    Where: Ausgang Plaza, 6524 Saint-Hubert Street

    When: December 10, 2023

    Exhibitors of all kinds, from artisans and craft designers to local businesses, will gather at the heart of this Christmas market on Plaza Saint-Hubert. On the program: local treasures, surprises throughout the day, local gourmet cuisine, hot beverages, and a visit from Tonton Noël!

    Marché de Noël 2023 #MAMTL
    Where: Paroisse Saint-Ambroise, 6510 De Normanville Street

    When: December 2-3, 2023 // December 16-17, 2023

    Experience the fun of two combined markets showcasing numerous Québecois artisans at the Paroisse Saint-Ambroise in the Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie neighbourhood. Activities include gifts at the entrance, face painting for children, a Christmas choir, free treats and prizes to be won. Unearth beautiful objects, handmade soaps, jewelry, clothes, accessories and delicious treats among the 50 or so exhibitors present over two weekends.

     

    DOWNTOWN/THE VILLAGE

    Le Marché des Artisans Récupérateurs
    Where: Esplanade Tranquille Pavilion, west of Clark Street between Sainte-Catherine Street and De Maisonneuve Boulevard

    When: December 1 to 3, 2023

    This is the first Christmas market to be held in the new Quartier des Spectacles layout. For the occasion, some 25 local eco-creators have taken it upon themselves to create your future Christmas gifts using a minimum of 75% recycled materials. Zero-waste items are up front and centre in this eco-friendly market that puts the planet first.

     

    Salon des métiers d’art du Québec
    Where: Palais des Congrès de Montréal Convention Centre – Room 220, 1001 Place Jean-Paul-Riopelle

    When: December 7 to 17, 2023

    Running strong for over 65 years, the Salon des métiers d’art du Québec is a cultural and holiday favourite. Go see some 300 Québecois, Canadian and international exhibitors who will be showcasing their creations and sharing their unique way of seeing the world and art.

     

    Holiday Market at the Time Out Market Montréal x Collectif Créatif MTL
    Where: Time Out Market, Eaton Centre, 705 Sainte-Catherine Street West

    When: December 7-10, 2023 // December 14-17, 2023

    The Collectif Créatif Montréal is hosting its first Holiday Market at the Time Out Market over two weekends with some forty local designers. Located in the heart of downtown at the Eaton Centre, this 40,000-square-foot culinary and cultural destination features sixteen restaurants, three bars, a demonstration kitchen, a cooking school and culinary spaces designed to host a variety of artistic and musical performances.

    Montréal Vegan Christmas Market
    Where: Maison du développement durable, 50 Sainte-Catherine Street West

    When: December 2-3, 2023

    Much to the delight of vegans and the vege-curious, the Montréal Vegan Christmas Market will be back at the Maison du développement durable. On the menu: baked goods, cosmetics, artisanal soaps and clothing, all made without animal exploitation or cruelty.

    Grand Bazar Vintage et Artisanal #MAMTL
    Where: Bain Mathieu, 2915 Ontario Street East

    When: December 9-10, 2023 // December 17, 2023

    Inside the legendary Bain Mathieu, the Grand Bazar offers a full-on experience featuring an array of talent in crafts, vintage finds, stage shows, live art, auctions, big-screen entertainment and DJs.

    PLATEAU MONT-ROYAL, MILE END

    Puces Pop
    Where: Saint-Denis Church, 5075 Rivard Street

    When: December 8-9-10, 2023 // December 15-16-17, 2023

    This large, typical Montréal fair, much loved by locals, is back!. It is a celebration of independent creation with more than a hundred artisans, spread out over the two weekends, offering a beautiful selection of objects, clothing, ceramics, posters, leather goods and other treasures to put in your Christmas hampers.

    When: December 16-17, 2023

    Where: Pop-up Lab, 4510 Cartier Street, suite 201

    As part of the Christmas in the Park Festival, Mont-Royal Avenue presents free outdoor concerts and entertainment on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as traditional music shows and activities for the whole family. To accompany the festivities, visit these two Christmas markets, each featuring over 30 exhibitors. Warmth, treasures and good times await!

    Marché de Noël de Pointe-aux-Trembles
    Where: Église Saint-Enfant-Jésus de la Pointe-aux-Trembles Church, 11 Saint-Jean-Baptiste Boulevard

    When: December 2 and 3, 2023

    The 4th edition of this Christmas market features close to fifty exhibitors, storytelling, a visit with Saint Nick and holiday jazz to make your shopping experience merry and bright. Be sure to head outside to Place du Village to enjoy a chestnuts and mulled wine by the fire. You can even pick out your Christmas tree!

    Indigenous Winter Market
    Where: Parc national d’Oka National Park

    When: December 2 and 3, 2023

    This first-ever Indigenous Winter Market presented by Kanehsatà:ke Tourism is a great way to celebrate and discover Indigenous cultural and heritage.
