Reduced Service on most lines during Movement Restriction Order

It’s day 6 of the Movement Restriction Order (MRO) and we hope everyone is doing fine while #JustStayAtHome. But if you’re working on essential services or working in frontline fighting the outbreak and still have to travel, do travel safely and #AddOil!

Here is the summary of the changes to our public transport network in Klang Valley

1) MRT, LRT & Monorail Frequency change

In line with the reduced demand during the MRO, Rapid KL will adopt the following frequencies for Ampang & Sri Petaling Line, Kelana Jaya Line, MRT Sungai Buloh – Kajang Line & KL Monorail.

Peak Hours (Mon-Fri, 7 am – 9 am & 4.30 pm to 7 pm) – Every 10 minutes

Non-Peak Hours (6 am – 12 am daily except peak hour mentioned above) – Every 30 minutes

2) Rapid KL Buses

Apart from the frequency change on the rail, Rapid KL Bus service, including the MRT Feeder bus, will also be reduced to around 30% of capacity during normal days. Please do expect longer wait times for buses as the operation of the bus may change based on demand.

3) KTM Komuter

More than 30+ trips will be canceled or modified on the KTM Komuter Lines during the MRO period. Details as following

4) Airport Services

All the changes had been updated in the Moovit app. For the latest information on your line, do check out the service alert in the app.
