    MTA Updates:

    📣 MTA Phase 4 Subway and Bus Updates HERE 

    Service details:

    Subways and buses

    • Running on a regular schedule. Subway service is still suspended from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. while stations and trains are being disinfected.
    • Front-door boarding and fare collection has resumed on local buses.

    Access-A-Ride/Paratransit

    • MTA is not scheduling shared rides. (You can still travel with a personal care attendant or guest.)

    Metro-North Railroad

    • Off-peak fares are in effect.

    Long Island Rail Road

    • Off-peak fares are in effect.

    Port Jervis Line

    *Masks or face coverings are required* 

    • Connecting bus service to Harriman Station will be available at Port Jervis, Middletown & Campbell Hall stations.
    • Local bus service will be available at all stations from Port Jervis – Salisbury Mills.
    • The last local bus will also stop at Harriman and continue to Ramsey Rte. 17 and meet the train at 12:14 AM. Otisville & Salisbury Mills customers should go to the closest available station for shuttle bus service to the train at Harriman.
    • Please check your destination while boarding buses. Westbound train service from Harriman will resume Sunday evening with the 7:20 PM train to Port Jervis.

    Long Island Rail Road

    October 20-22:Buses Substitute for Late-Night/Overnight Trains Between Huntington and Port Jefferson

    From the evening through early-morning hours on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 20-21, and again on Wednesday and Thursday, October 21-22, buses will substitute for trains between Huntington and Port Jefferson as a track-testing program to ensure rail safety is performed.

    Westbound customers: Buses will depart up to 30 minutes earlier than normal train times.

    Eastbound customers: Please plan for up to 40 minutes of additional travel time.

    October 27-29: Buses Substitute for Evening/Overnight Trains Between
    Babylon/Patchogue and Montauk

    From the evening through early-morning hours on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 27-28, and again on Wednesday and Thursday, October 28-29, buses will substitute for trains between Babylon/Patchogue and Montauk.

    Westbound customers: Buses will depart up to 1 hour earlier than normal train times.

    Eastbound customers: Please plan for up to 1 hour of additional travel time.
