    Subway Planned station improvements that require subway station bypasses and closures

    Here’s a rolling list of planned service changes, start and end dates, and information on alternative travel options for stations that will be closed completely (24/7) for a duration of sixty days or longer, or bypassed in either direction, for repairs or renovation.

    We’ll update this page on a regular basis as projects begin and end. Dates may be subject to change.

    January 30 & February 13: Port Washington Service Reduced from Half-Hourly to Hourly

    • On Saturday, January 30 and again on Saturday, February 13, Port Washington Branch service will be reduced from half-hourly to hourly while trackwork is performed. Regular weekend service is scheduled to be in effect on Sunday, January 31 and on Sunday, February 14. Printed timetables will not be distributed. See below for schedules:

    • Side Platform at White Plains Station Partially Reopens for Customers, Effective Mon., Feb. 1

    Effective Monday, Feb. 1, the side platform at White Plains Station will partially reopen for customers. Thank you for your patience.
