Metrorail Updates:
- Metrorail operates from 5:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. on Weekdays, 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Saturdays, and 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Sundays
Weekday service info.
- Red Line Trains – Regular daytime intervals: Trains every 18 minutes (every 9 minutes between Glenmont – Farragut North) until 7:00 p.m. Weeknights: Trains every 18 minutes
- Blue Line Trains – Regular daytime intervals: Trains trains every 12 minutes until 7 p.m. Weeknights: Trains every 20 minutes until 9 p.m. then every 24 minutes until closing
- Orange Line Trains – Regular daytime intervals: Trains every 12 minutes until 7 p.m. Weeknights: Trains every 20 minutes
- Silver Line Trains – Regular daytime intervals: Trains every 12 minutes until 7 p.m. Weeknights: Trains every 20 minutes
- Yellow Line Trains operating in two segments: Huntington – Greenbelt and Franconia-Springfield – Mt Vernon Sq/National Airport – Regular daytime intervals: Trains every 12 minutes until 7 p.m. Weeknights: Trains every 20 minutes
- Green Line Trains – No train service to West Hyattsville, Prince George’s Plaza, College Park-U of Md, and Greenbelt. Free shuttle buses are provided. Regular daytime intervals: 12. Weeknights: Trains every 20 minutes

Weekend service adjustments
- Red Line Trains every 12 minutes
Due to Tunnel Ventilation Improvement Project:
- Shutdown between Van Ness and Dupont Circle.
- Trains will operate in two segments: Shady Grove to Van Ness and Dupont Circle to Glenmont.
- No train service at Woodley Park and Cleveland Park.
- Free shuttle buses are provided.
- Blue Line & Orange Line Trains operating every 24 minutes – Single tracking between Eastern Market and Stadium-Armory.
- Yellow Line Trains operating every 15-20 minutes in two segments: Huntington – Greenbelt and Franconia-Springfield – Mt Vernon Sq.
- Green Line Trains every 15-20 minutes between Branch Ave and Ft Totten only. West Hyattsville, Prince George’s Plaza, College Park-U of Md, and Greenbelt closed. Free shuttle buses are provided with limited stops.
- Trains every 24 minutes – Trains operate every 24 minutes between Wiehle-Reston East and Eastern Market only
Riders traveling between Federal Center SW and Largo should transfer to the Blue Line to continue trip.

- Executive Connector – Route 5, 26 and 81
- The Executive Connector combines three existing Ride On routes with a specially timed service every 10 minutes during rush hours
- Buses operate along Executive Boulevard and East Jefferson Street between Old Georgetown and Montrose Roads going to White Flint or Twinbrook Metrorail Stations
